Dear Former Sarge Athletics Members,

We are excited to introduce you to the Frederick Training Center (FTC)—a new fitness and athletic training facility dedicated to continuing the strong community and training culture that made Sarge Athletics so special. As long-time Sarge members and active participants in youth soccer, we know firsthand how important it is to have a place where athletes of all levels can push their limits, develop skills, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

A Special Thank You

We want to express our deep appreciation to our landlords, Ron & Rob Ganazza, for believing in our vision and selecting Frederick Training Center to carry on the legacy of elite training in this space.

Their support made it possible to keep this facility in the hands of a passionate, local community rather than turning it over to a large, multi-location fitness chain. This decision allows us to create something truly unique—an environment where athletic training thrives during the day and youth sports flourish in the evenings and weekends, making the most of this incredible space while ensuring its long-term success.

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Sarge for all his support throughout this transition and for establishing a training environment that has been enjoyed by so many people over the years. His dedication to fitness and community has laid the foundation for what we hope to continue and build upon at FTC.

Finally, we also want to thank the many members who have offered their support and assistance in helping to make this dream a reality. Your dedication and enthusiasm have been instrumental in bringing FTC to life, and we are incredibly grateful.

Meet Your FTC Leadership & Trainers. Leading the way at FTC will be Josh Hosey, who will oversee operations, training programs, and staff management. Many of your favorite trainers are joining us, including Brandon Martin, J.C. Philbin, and Carl Tossah—so you’ll continue to see the faces you know and trust. Additionally, long-time Sarge member Hilary Jenkins will be part of our staff, helping with membership onboarding and administrative support.

Facility Upgrades & Enhancements. While our turnaround time is short, we are committed to making significant improvements to enhance your training experience. Some of the planned upgrades include:

• New equipment (order has been placed and some equipment will be arriving next week)
• New flooring for improved performance and safety
• Renovated bathrooms and other remodeling to add comfort and elevate the space
• New website and social media channels
• New fitness app (fitDEGREE) will serve as a central hub for managing your fitness experience, allowing you to book classes, track your workouts, and stay connected with the FTC community. Be on the lookout for a separate email with instructions on how to download the app and set up your account to ensure your membership and account details are active and ready for your first day at the Training Center. Ideally, the goal with fitDEGREE is for members to take a more active role in the Training Center—using it to purchase memberships, chat with each other, get news and updates, and stay engaged with upcoming events and programming.

Transition Timeline. To facilitate these changes, FTC will be closed the week of March 3rd but will reopen the week of March 10th, maintaining the same schedule you followed at Sarge.

Class times will be:

• 5:45 AM, 7:00 AM, 8:30 AM, 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 6:00 PM
• Established personal training times will continue as before

Additionally, the week of March 10th - March 14th will be FREE. The last two weeks of the month will be prorated based on the previous Sarge price structure.

Onboarding with our new FitDEGREE app will also begin next week to ensure a seamless transition for all members.
