A standout player himself, Bo competed for Linganore High School, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and the College of William & Mary, where he was a CAA Champion and NCAA Tournament participant. He also played professionally in the USISL. His contributions to soccer have been recognized with inductions into both the Frederick County Soccer Hall of Fame (2012) and the Frederick County YMCA Alvin G. Quinn Sports Hall of Fame (2025).
Outside of soccer, Bo is a “recovering” attorney and a former partner at Stinson LLP, a large national law firm, where he built a successful legal career before shifting his focus to coaching and club leadership. He shares five children with his wife Jackie but readily acknowledges his comparative lack of contribution to their athletic success.
